I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Perth, Western Australia)
Interview
Experienced 4 stages which were all run extremely professionally and was always given more than enough support and preparation.
1) Brief phone interview with HR
2) Face-to-face with local Area Manager
3) Phone interview with Area Manager from another region
4) Panel interview involving role play
My advice is to prepare but not over prepare. The panel interview is more to see how you run a sales call and how curious you are than wanting you to know and sell Gartner's services. All the people I dealt with really wanted me to succeed and were providing me with feedback along the way and I used this to help me at each stage.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner in May 2026
Interview
30 minute phone call with recruiter. Next is 1 hour with recruiter about your background, behavioral questions. Then 1 hour with LSA with questions on your background and a role play.
HR is very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. It can be a little confusing how they structure and and label their position but easily cleared up when talking in first rounds. They are professional and get back quickly. Overall a very positive experience.
