I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ginger Labs (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
The process was overall disorganized. They asked for a last minute slide deck the night before the final round. The final round was 5 hours and was incredibly boring. It’s obvious this company is not quick to adopt AI. it took them six weeks to reimburse my final round interview expenses.

What are you looking for in your next manager?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ginger Labs
Interview
Had conversation with recruiter which said they'll follow with next steps. Completely dropped the ball. Crickets. Not even a standard rejection email. Was reached out again by a different recruiter, which misrepresented themselves (3rd party with ginger labs email). After letting them know about the previous conversation, I got an email reply saying the role has been filled and they're slowing down on recrtuiting. So why contact me? Why waste my time for a role tha's not there? New low.
