Overall Experience:
My interview experience was unprofessional from start to finish. I was scheduled to meet with the CEO, but when I joined the call, a different person appeared three minutes late. Five minutes into the conversation, I was informed the CEO wouldn't be joining. The interviewer was visibly distracted, and I later realized they were playing with their dog during our discussion. Despite lacking technical expertise, they attempted to discuss technical topics. They promised feedback by the end of the week, but three weeks have passed without any communication.
This experience reflects poorly on the company's professionalism and respect for candidates' time. I would caution other job seekers to consider whether this organization values the people it aims to hire.
Advice to Management:
Respect candidates' time by keeping scheduled appointments or providing advance notice of changes. Ensure interviewers are prepared, focused, and qualified to assess the skills required for the position. Follow through on promised communications, even if the news isn't positive.
