Goodnotes Senior Backend Engineer-Java interview questions

The recruiter reached out to me and asked me to schedule a call. Explained about the company and it vision then about the interview process. first interview was hackerrank test for 50mins it included only one simple question, which i solved in around 20 mins with all test cases passing. Then 2 days later they rejected saying it did not match expectation, no explanation during the call or any other way what was expectation it was a simple hackerrank question. Would suggest don't waste your time on this company i regret ever scheduling the call with them.
