Applied with CV and offered a interview for a new job in a different base. Very casual interview, met with a manager and was essentially offered the job there and then. Told I was to be trained locally before I started the new job and that he would be in touch very soon with details about salary, contracts etc.
A week goes by and I hear nothing so I call in to check the status, head manager was away on holidays so he hadn't had a chance to speak with him about the details but would be in touch in the next week to organize a date to start my training.
Another week or so goes by, I try getting hold of him and no answer, send a few texts reminding him that I am going on holidays soon which we had discussed in the interview and was eager to get my training done before then. Again no answer.
Was depending of this job as I was moving down to the area and hadn't done any job search in the mean time as I was assured i had the job and documents would be sent over.
About a month or two later, I get a call from the offices near me saying that they saw I had applied a while ago and asked me to come in for an interview. I went in to see them and I do not think they had a clue what the job entailed or anything about the previous interview/job offer.
Interview went well and they said that they want me to meet the other operations manager in office as she knows more about the job and should be meeting me in the next three days..... that was the last I heard of them.
very unorganized management, found it quiet disrespectful to just ghost me rather than even sending a text to say the position had been filled or that I wasn't needed for the job anymore as I was given dates for training and all.
