I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Groupon (Hyderābād) in Dec 2012
Interview
They conducted an objective and a coding test with 3 codes. The codes were pretty easy and doable. One code was to sort a link list that is having nodes at odd locations sorted in increasing order and nodes at even positions sorted in decreasing order. The selected candidates were interviewed over three rounds. The three rounds however were not conducted at a similar difficulty level for all the people. They were mostly random with a lot of variation. Overall they asked technical questions on data structures, OS, oops and a few puzzles and brain-teasers.

Question 1
The interviewer expected me to code djkstraw and avl rotation in the interview round within 10 minutes. It was quite out of the regular way.
There were two interview rounds in total:
Technical Round: Focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), along with some general technical questions.
HR + Technical Round: Included HR discussions, a few technical questions, and also one DSA problem.
