I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon in Mar 2026
Application
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Groupon in Jan 2019
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me within a week of my submission, had a phone interview with the hiring manager then an on-site interview .
It was very repetitive, different interviewers asked similar questions for straight 5 hours .
Not sure what they were looking for, but questions were pretty straight forward to product management

I was asked to create a case study. I invested nearly 12-14 hour to create a application which would allow merchants to publish deals on Groupon. It was a fully functional App calling Open AI to generate a deal and allow Merchants to publish the deal in just 3 clicks. There was a supporting video which I created,

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2021
Interview
Met with HR, the hiring manager, then invited to round two with five stakeholders in marketing and engineering. Typical interview questions about collaboration, examples of products and projects managed, etc.
Interview process was okay, but it was clear that they were interviewing for the sake of interviews. Clearly they had no intention to hire.
Would never go there back again.
