I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guidepoint (New York, NY) in Sept 2018
Interview
Interview process is unnecessarily extensive, tedious and time-consuming. I met with a total of 8-10 different people - both in HR, the hiring department, and one person outside of the department who just likes to "meet any new candidates" over the course of two separate days. This could have been expedited by creating small groups to meet with me each time as most of the questions each person asked where the same and lots of information was repeated. I was there for over two hours each time and I did not feel like they respected me or my time. The general counsel was very rude and insulted me on a personal level. There was mention of a writing sample being required by one person and a test by another, but neither of these were actually presented to me. Their whole process seems very disorganized and unprofessional. After an initial phone screening and two rounds of in-person interviews, I was never even notified whether I would be moving forward or not.
