I interviewed for a Senior Account Manager role and went through multiple rounds, including a final in-person interview with three team members.
Shortly after the onsite, I received an automated rejection email, which was surprising given the level of time investment required for an in-person final round. The message itself also appeared to be incorrect—it thanked me for applying and stated they would not be moving forward with an interview, rather than referencing the stage I had reached. Additionally, there was some inconsistency throughout the process regarding the role title (VP vs. AVP), which created confusion. When I followed up for clarification on the rejection email, I did not receive a response. Overall, the coordination and communication throughout the process felt somewhat disorganized and impersonal, especially for a client-facing organization.
