I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HP Inc. (Bengaluru)
Interview
The company HR reached out telling their requirements match my profile. Took all the necessary details on phone. Had a technical telephonic round, followed by 2 rounds of face to face rounds with developer and the architect and another round with the manager. All the rounds were during weekdays. I thought it went well. After 2 weeks of persistent follow ups, I get mail telling their requirements don't match my profile which is non sense because it contradicts what was told initially and even then, it should be part of initial screening instead of wasting the candidate's entire precious work day and the interviewer's time as well.
Pros:
Collaborative and friendly work environment
Opportunities to learn and grow, especially for freshers
Supportive team and approachable management
Flexibility in work schedule and good work-life balance
Exposure to real-time projects and modern tools
Cons:
Limited advancement opportunities in some departments
Processes can be slow at times due to internal dependencies
Compensation may not be at par with industry leaders, but fair for the level
After successfully completing all the interviews and being selected, I was deeply disappointed to never receive the offer letter as promised. This experience has been extremely disheartening. Waste of time and energy.
