Following my interview, it comes as no surprise that former employees find management distasteful. If an interviewee can be subjected to such arrogance and unprofessional impoliteness, then God only knows what an employee would have to suffer at their hands. Bullying at it's very worst. Someone who can be so openly offensive and impolite to someone they don't know, nor have any authority over, one can only imagine the type offence that could be suffered as an employee. Ironically enough, the same person is responsible for HR at the company and therefore staff wellbeing, which may explain why the culture has been allowed to develop into such an ugly and unpleasant working environment. I say, not a case of sour grapes, but a very lucky escape. I wasn't "big enough" to fill his self-important shoes, but God bless the soul who is cut from the same high calibre cloth as he apparently thinks he is. Never mind he has been in the job for 19 years so ought to be fantastic at it!
It comes as no surprise to me that almost 10% of staff have left highly negative reviews. This is not a progressive company when you consider how real progressive high flying companies treat their employees. HRG UK Ltd have a long way to go. In fact, they haven't even realised that they need to start that journey.
In all my years of attending interviews and being rejected, I have taken them all in my stride and not once have I ever felt the need to write a review or complaint. This was just one of those experiences I wish never to repeat.
