Thank you for taking time to provide some feedback regarding your application experience with Hanover Research. While I am sorry that you do not see the value in using an online assessment test to gauge overall job, company and cultural fit, Hanover has found the test to be very beneficial in helping to assess talents and traits like creative problem solving, emotional responses to stress, logical problem solving and sociability. These traits and talents are very difficult to assess through a traditional phone interview or reviewing written materials. Using the results from the assessment in conjunction with the application materials, the hiring team makes a decision on whether an individual would be a good cultural fit for their team or department. Building cohesive and collaborative teams is fundamental to our hiring philosophy. The test is not a finite measure of success in the role, rather it allows the hiring team to apply a different (and completely objective) lens when reviewing applicants.
