I saw an open role on AngelList a few months ago. I tried contacting the poster on AngelList and LinkedIn, but didn't receive a response. The same role opened up a few months later. I did the same, and received a response this time. I was invited to their office in DUMBO in downtown Brooklyn, where I spoke to a product manager and a software developer. The conversations were very casual, and were mainly about my background in project management. I didn't hear back from them for a couple of weeks, and thus reached out myself. I was then informed that the role had been filled.
