I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hilton (Washington, DC) in May 2019
Interview
I was Head-Hunted for a Sales Manager position at a DC Hilton Managed Hotel that has been open for less than a year. I asked what came of the incumbent and was told that they had taken a chance on a new prospect and she was not up to the level they were looking for in that hotel. The job offered less than I was already making and would require travel into DC from Northern VA. When I asked what might be the compelling reason to make such a career move, the Recruiter told me that it was a "Conrad" hotel. So you already made a bad hire and now wanted to offer me a job that paid $8,000.00 less than what I am currently making. Oh and the on Property DOSM had a call scheduled to talk to me and was 20 minutes late in making the call. I did not return the call.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Hilton (Quebec, QC) in Apr 2024

Had en interview with the Sales & Marketing VP and it was an enjoyable experience. Focus is on the personality, values, assets & skill sets. They are looking for genuine candidates with team spirit.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Hilton in Oct 2022
Interview
If you want to work at a place that values experience, look elsewhere. They want to pay as little as possible so ultimately that brings in garbage managers that dont know what they are doing.
Zoom virtual event with upper management. I waited 45 minutes after scheduled call for interview to begin. The interview was brief and professional and I was encouraged to apply ASAP
