The interview process started in April. I had three f2f interviews and three phone interviews.
There was some lag in between and some disconnect for someone's flight time, and EST vs. MDT time, however, I was always informed that the process "was going to move very rapidly", and that they already desperately needed me on a specific project. I checked in after every interview to ensure that they had gone well. The feedback was always positive.
We had several discussions around salary, and an extensive email provided about how it all worked and what it would mean to me including benefits. We agreed on the numbers via email and verbally. However, the last correspondence I received from the Recruitment Manager was that they needed a home address. I sent it out an hour later, and they went silent.
I've reached out to the Recruitment Manager on several occasions; he provided me with his cellular and office number. We had an excellent report, talked about sports, politics, provincial benefits, and client engagement experiences.
I've requested feedback or an update. I've been sincere in my reach out; I would understand if the project had fallen through or if Hitachi had found a local candidate, but I've received no response.
What is most frustrating is that I sidelined other gigs for this one.
