I was seated at a table in the beginning of the building, they ask you to fill out paperwork on the application.
Eventually, I was seated in a room with one of the higher ups named Vic. He asked me many questions, and he was a very cool and down to earth guy. He even asked me what my hobbies were and we talked about that for a minute, in which he talked about a side project he was doing.
He was very cool, it was a very good interview and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful. Afterwards, he introduced me to some of the employees as well.
Before I left, they asked me to do a background check. Which was no problem, I apparently passed even though I have bad credit due to student loans.
A couple of days passed and I was asked to come in for another interview.
This time I spoke with Vic, and he introduced me to one of the founders and the founder asked me questions this time.
I was in fact, in the lead and was only competing with one other person.
Unfortunately I wasn't on my A game in this interview, as I work retail and closed the previous day, so I was tired since they called me in early. That and I had a wardrobe malfunction which made me act weird..
The founder did mention that he likes it when people are interested in the products they sell (Dj and music equipment, which I have no interest in) so I got some points off for that, but I don't mind because I agree, as I found that part to be rather boring and the only drawback of working there. I'd prefer to work for a company that has interesting products.
I didn't get a call back, but I didn't mind as the job itself was cool, but the products would have bored me.
Overall. It was in fact a great experience...everyone was so nice an down to earth. This was in fact the second time I went on a second interview.
