Job listing mentioned NOTHING about direct sales. It was full of buzzwords that had nothing to do with the actual position. At the first interview I had, I was told "there will be 3 interviews" ....and was told the same thing during the second interview. This is where you're double teamed by 2 employees, over coffee. They present you with this "plan" and throw a bunch of numbers at you saying "in 6 months you'll be making ___, and then in 9 months you'll be promoted to ___ and make ____".
Honestly I didn't realize until afterwards that they never answered my questions. They work really hard to try and sell you on the job. Don't really want to hear about your qualifications or skills.
Not only that but after this 2nd interview one of the 2 employees said to the other one, in front of me, something to the effect of "oh she's gonna be great here".....mind you I am NOT a sales person (and I had no chance to show the skills I do have) and that just reeked of insincerity.
A few hours after the second interview they call and offer me the job. AFTER telling me multiple times that there would be 3 rounds of interviews. I accepted but then thankfully changed my mind.
The lack of any paperwork or files or anything of the sort should have been the first red flag I noticed.
