Impact Analytics Fullstack Developer interview questions

CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! Interviewers were freindly, but I have no words for the management . I had my first round of interview and around 2 hours later HR called me on my phone and said that you have cleared first round, when can we schedule second round. I informed I was available for the next 2-3 day, HR replied that she'll get back to me after confirming the time slot from interviewer. 2 days later I got an email that they won't be moving forward with my candidature. Reason given was useless (other candidate is a better fit because of salary, while funnily there was not even a single discussion regarding the salary, with me) Advice: Rejection is ok, but rejecting with lame reasons is unprofessional. Tell the result to candidate only after you have made your final decision.
