I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Informatica in Feb 2014
Interview
I applied through my college job search site for an on campus interview. I then scheduled an interview date online through the campus job search site. The recruiter was very nice the interview was very casual and easy going. It felt more like a conversation than an interview. The recruiter basically went through my resume and asked me to further explain my experiences and skills. The first interview weeds everyone out based on personality and fit for the company/ position. The second one is assesses your technical capabilities (so the recruiter told me)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no trick questions in the first round interview. I didn't find any of the questions extremely hard. Just be prepared to verbally provide examples of the work you describe on your resume. For example if you are asked what experience you have with Java you will be asked follow up questions. So if you give examples of a program you wrote to solve some problem they will ask you more details about your code.

Interview
Did an on-campus interview with Informatica at IU. This went well. Basic interview questions to start with. Why would you be an ideal candidate? Tell me about a project the went wrong. and so on. Then there was a chance to ask them questions. I asked about things like the culture and the travel time. Do your research but dont be too nervous.
Then I was asked to go to Chicago to do an onsite interview. They paid expenses. This was a whole morning process. There was 3 separate interviews. A rotation of sorts. They all asked general questions but then each had some interesting things to say. I had one rude and negative guy and two nice and pleasant guys. Not sure if this was a tactic on their part or an actual personality trait of that man. But the interviews went well. They called me 2 weeks later and offered the job.

Interview
Applied for the position from a Campus Job Fair, got the interview a couple weeks after. The interview was in person and lasted 30-40 minutes. All the questions were behavioral, the only technical questions were about how much I knew about each technical skill on my resume. It was a one-on-one interview with a senior-level analyst in the company, their normal interviewers were not available during the week they were on my campus.

Question 1
They asked what my proficiency was in each of the programming languages/software. Very open ended at the end, wanted to hear my feedback.

Interview
Brief behavioral interview to start. After discussing various topics on my resume, we moved on to some technical questions about SQL. Overall a very relaxed and inviting interview. I left feeling much more informed and interested in the company.
