I met the recruiter at a conference and we played phone tag for a couple of months before being interviewed for a project. The interview was very straight forward. I was asked a few questions about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

There were no real difficult or unexpected questions. The only question that stood out in my mind was how to handle background images.

Interview
I had one phone screening and then a technical interview. Phone screening was easy and it went great. It was about the behavioral questions. It was about background checks about my experiences from my previous job. It was a great experience, as this was my first interview in US.

They asked questions about basic java. Some logical questions, like how would i solve certain kind of a problem in java? Also I was asked some data structure questions and questions from spring mvc framework.
