I am excited to share my interview experience at Infosys, where I was selected as a Specialist Programmer. The process began with an online assessment consisting of three coding questions, which ranged from medium to hard difficulty. I managed to solve two of them and then waited for the results, which were announced after 3-4 weeks. After clearing this round, I received an email scheduling my interview. The interview was held in person at the Infosys Hyderabad campus and consisted of both technical and HR rounds. During the technical round, I was asked 3-4 Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) questions, covering topics like strings, linked lists, trees, and graphs. I was also asked to write two SQL queries as part of a DBMS assessment. In addition, I was tested on Operating System concepts, including scheduling algorithms and deadlocks. One key aspect of the interview was explaining my past projects, where I had to discuss the technical implementation, challenges faced, and their impact. The interview was paper-based, which was a unique experience. After the interview, I had the opportunity to ask questions about Infosys' projects, training programs, and overall work culture, which made me even more eager to join the company. The final results were communicated to the campus TPO after another 3-4 weeks, and I was thrilled to learn that I had been selected. This journey was both challenging and rewarding, and I’m excited to begin my professional career with Infosys.
