I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Bhubaneshwar) in Sept 2015
Interview
It was a one day process. The Process had just two rounds : Written Aptitude
Interview (Technical + HR)
The written round had moderate level questions- neither difficult nor very easy. Regular practice will help one to crack it very easily.
Now since Infosys recruits on a mass scale, there were many interviewers.. around 8 to 9.
Some of them were asking purely technical, some purely HR , whilst some a mixture of both.
My interviewer asked me a mixture of both. It was a pretty good experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Initially he asked me to introduce myself, then asked about my strengths and hobbies. Then I was asked to write 2 simple codes in C. After the codes he asked me in detail about my project. He seemed very interested in my topic and even shared his knowledge on the topic.
2 rounds of interview for Infosys first is coding round and then managerial round mostly and sometimes test is also there. Interview is not tough though but referral is important

Interview
Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
