I applied through university. I interviewed at Intuit (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2025
Interview
Had a first round interview with Intuit in Toronto. This was a contract position so I was contacted by a 3rd party recruiter on behalf of Intuit. Slightly weird interview process because I asked them for details on the process and they only got back to me saying it'll just be a meeting with the hiring managers and a technical assignment of my background, which wasn't straightforward. Since it was a first interview, I assumed maybe a resume walkthrough with a couple of SQL/Python questions. Day of interview - I joined the call and they said hello what's up and pulled up the screen and asked me a couple of easy-medium SQL questions. The questions were fairly easy but I did stumble a lot because I am a visual person and like to run my code. However, after that, they never reached out to me again. I know I probably did an average job but I still think they should have been respectful enough to email me a rejection.
