Interview
The process starts with a phone screening and then if that goes well an in person interview in their HQ in West Chester PA. The staff and management were friendly and inviting. They asked poignant questions that required well through out and detailed answers. This part of the process went great.
However, there was a technical assessment ( which is expected) while there is a 6 hour time limit it still felt rushed for what they were asking. Also the only way to complete it correctly in that time is by doing it a very simple and tedious way that would not be used when working on the actual framework.
The worst part however, is the fact that I am unsure if they even looked at my code. I attempted to do the assignment the way I would if I had the job which was much more detailed and time consuming than what they were expecting. I left comments and a summary as to my reasoning for this. When I asked for feedback it looked like the assignment was graded by AI which pointed out issues that i addressed in comments. Even if I wasn’t the best candidate if they read my code they would’ve seen that I already addressed what the AI did.
