Interview
My only advice is to not delay interviews and go through them as quickly as possible. I only had two rounds and the third round was cancelled when I came for an interview because they had already hired another candidate.
What's particularly frustrating is that I paused all my other applications to better prepare for Iso and received no feedback on how I could improve my resume to qualify for other positions I applied for and was subsequently rejected.

Interview
Spoke with recruiter, who was nice but had limited knowledge of the role. The job was for a ML Performance Engineering position to improve training performance of LLMs. then had a technical interview.
The technical interview didn't go well for a variety of reasons; the question was a twist on an algorithms question but a string based one which seems completely irrelevant for the job (what GPU engineer works with strings...?), but the more frustrating part was the interviewer not being able to clearly answer my questions about their coding question; he also kept changing the question away from what was written when I had the correct solution to the written question almost completed. It was a C++ interview and the interviewer said he is not that familiar with C++ which was also very disappointing.
I messed up my solution to a certain extent, so agree with not putting me through, but the experience overall was very bad and disappointing due to the lack of clarity by the interviewer.
Thank you for providing feedback on the interview, as we’re always looking for ways that we can improve. It’s worth mentioning that the general coding questions are chosen from a pool that we give to anyone joining our software engineering team, as we need to ensure everyone has a proficient ability to code given the wider environment you would be working within - nobody works in isolation.
It sounds like we missed your preference to work in C++ for the interview. This is something we try to identify before the interview takes place so that we can map you with an appropriate interviewer, and we will look into what might have happened. If you would like to discuss this in more detail with us please contact the Talent team.

Interview
1. Initial recruiter call
2. Take-home task
3. Tech screen and hiring manager interviews
4. Coding, system design, and culture fit interviews
The experience overall was very enjoyable. All interviewers were professional and respectful, and the questions asked were relevant to the role and company.
