Interview
The hiring process is standard Israel CSC recruitment procedure. The two initial stages are conducted by an outside HR companies. The first stage is psychometric tests which are pretty basic and don't require special preparations for candidates holding BA in economics. The second stage is an evaluation by a psychologist which includes group dynamic, personality surveys etc.
The third and final stage is an interview by a committee in the IAA HQ at Jerusalem. The committee includes the IAA Chief Economist and Head of the Economic Department, IAA Deputy Head of Economic Department and Head of Antitrust Division, IAA CHRO, CSC representative, and a public representative.
The interview is relatively brief, between 10 and 30 minutes. You will be asked personal questions as well as basic question to test your professional skills. You should make yourself familiar with the methodology used by the IAA to analyze mergers (it's public and accessible in the IAA website) and the major legislation pieces relevant to the field: Antitrust Law, Law for Promotion of Competition and Reduction of Concentration, Food Law, etc.
