Great for first time servers. They look for good work ethic and hospitality over experience. It helps to have experience, but a good interview can get you through the door.

Similar experience to what others have shared. Was invited under the guise of what was supposed to be a 1:1 interview, turned out to be an open call. Management sat inside at a high top while a stressed server tried to manage over 40 applicants waiting outside in the rain on top of the 8-10 tables he had sat. I left after waiting for 20 minutes. Complete disregard for the time and energy of their applicants. Offensive.
