I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jackpot Interactive (Singapore) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied at a online job portal. Within a week, a phone interview was scheduled. Pretty standard questions like past work experiences, expected salary etc. After the phone call, there was no news for 3 weeks.
About 1 month later from the date I applied, a face to face interview was scheduled. I arrived on time, but the CEO, who was also the person interviewing me, made me wait 25 minutes. (first red flag). Throughout the interview, the interviewer was constantly glancing at his phone - initially, he was viewing my resume, but even as I started to show him videos of my past work on my laptop, he was still not paying attention (second red flag). The final straw was when we touched on the topic of last drawn salary. I told the interviewer firmly that I did not wish to disclose my last salary, but they were adamant - totally refusing to give in (third red flag).
Initially, after meeting him, I was supposed to be meeting 2 other software engineers in the team, but the interview was cut short after the interviewer realised that I would not budge. I was shown promptly out the door. I would not recommend this company.
