Round 1 – Introductory "Get-to-Know" Session & Research Task:
The first round consisted of an introductory interaction aimed at understanding my background, motivations, and alignment with the organization’s values and mission. As part of this round, I was also given a research-based task on a topic relevant to the organization’s work. This was designed to assess my analytical thinking, subject understanding, and ability to present insights in a clear and structured manner.
Round 2 – Interview with Team Lead and Department Head:
The second round involved a detailed interview with the respective team lead and the department head. This conversation focused on evaluating my technical skills, domain knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and approach to real-world challenges. Additionally, there was a strong emphasis on assessing cultural fit, long-term interest, and alignment with the goals and expectations of the team.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Jan Sahas (Navi Mumbai) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was lengthy and seemed like HR and management had no idea what they were doing. The process went on for over 6 months. No JD was shared despite repeated requests and there was no clarity on which team I’d be joining.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jan Sahas (New Delhi) in Sept 2017
Interview
There was only a Personal Interview for this post. The interview was the head of the organization. The process was smooth, Since it is a grassroots organization, there was no formality as such.
