      Trader Interview

      6 Sept 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Jane Street in Jan 2010

      Interview

Interviewer was very kind and honest, straight to the point. Started off with easy math questions and got progressively harder. Definitely try your best to remain calm as you will otherwise freak-out to the giveaways.

      Interview

Probability questions, nothing crazy but quite open ended, they want to know your thought process and calculations. Pen and paper allowed but no calculator. No OA, a few rounds and got rejected. Zoom call with a trader.
