Interview
The hiring process felt out of the ordinary and raised some concerns around clarity and structure.
I initially reached out to better understand the job scope, as the role was listed simply as “Graphic Designer” with limited information on day-to-day responsibilities. Instead of an interview or role clarification, I was asked to complete an assignment as the first step.
Before proceeding, I requested a call to better understand the role, particularly as the assignment felt broad. During the conversation, there appeared to be a misalignment between the role being discussed and the assignment brief, which made it difficult to assess expectations.
Additionally, key information such as the salary range or budget for the role was not available at this stage, which further limited my ability to determine whether the position would be a suitable fit.
Due to the lack of clarity, misalignment between the role and assignment, and the absence of fundamental details, I decided not to proceed with the assignment.

Interview
When confirming the online interview time with the brand principal Janice Wong, I deeply felt her inability to effectively manage time and communication, as well as her lack of respect towards employees. While I understand she may be extremely busy, she repeatedly requested last-minute interviews (sometimes on the same day or the next day), and she missed the scheduled meeting without prior notice. During the interview, she also raised several questions that had already been addressed in the personal information or messages provided earlier. Overall, Janice Wong's conduct towards interviewees made me very uncomfortable and lacked basic respect.
