Interview
I recently completed a virtual interview with Johnson & Johnson, and while I appreciate the opportunity to be considered, the process felt somewhat cold and disconnected. The format provided one question at a time, followed by a short period to practice and then 60–90 seconds to record each response.
I understand that with the volume of applicants, it can be challenging to interview everyone personally. However, this one-sided format doesn’t allow for genuine interaction or a chance to showcase personality and communication style. A short, 15-minute “get to know you” conversation—live or virtual—would go a long way in making the process feel more human and in helping J&J get a better sense of each candidate beyond rehearsed responses.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson (Iowa City, IA) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview went well and I thought I would get a chance to interview with the district manager but I received an email the very next day that they didn't choose me. I emailed for feedback but no one responded. A company like JNJ should have feedback as part of the hiring process so we know what went well and what did not.
