I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2013
Interview
I had an initial screening interview that lasted about 30 minutes where most of the questions were straight forward about personal and professional history. I got one behavioral type question - tell me about a time where you led a team. The interviewer was not a statistician or even located at the hiring facility. Since it's a big company, they have personnel to screen before referring to the hiring manager. My interview went very well and I got the opportunity to ask some questions. I was told they would get back to me to schedule a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager at the facility I would be working at. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing, I got back with my contact that initially interviewed me and he said they were deciding who to carry on to the next phase of the process. So I misunderstood I guess. I thought I was getting a second interview. After over a month, I can see I'm not getting a call back. I don't know if they'll bother to even tell me they did not choose me, but I would have to say no matter what happens, the process is not very good.

Interview
Basic first interview with only a few open-ended questions. I spoke with a non- technical guy in personnel so it wasn't difficult. I was very disappointed after being told I'd hear back within 10 days about a second interview, they didn't get back to me for 6 months (and that was an impersonal "you didn't get the job" email). I contacted them 5 times over the first two weeks and then gave up when I had to leave messages every time and they wouldn't call back. Crappy company.
