I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Journeys (New York, NY) in Oct 2014
Interview
The interview was very early in the morning (8:30 am), I walked in to see the employees opening up the stores. Three people including myself were taken into the break room for a group interview. The interview was very relaxed and they asked us basic questions, for example: why we want to work there, strengths, weaknesses, etc. It got a tad bit awkward when we were asked to compare ourselves to the other people being interviewed.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Journeys
Interview
It was quick and easy. Applied and got a call back 2 days later asking me why I wanted to work there and my availability. Then set up an in person interview which took around 10 minutes.
Quick 30 minute conversation. Pretty straightforward. As long as you seem like you can talk to people and are responsible you’ll be fine. Since it’s entry level they didn’t ask too much about past work experience.
