Hello, thank you for sharing feedback on your experience and for attending KUBRA's in-house private recruiting event in September! We had a great turnout for this event, with various internal teams coming together to meet with prospective candidates. Due to the large volume of attendees and KUBRA volunteers involved in making this event a success, our review and selection process took longer than usual as we worked through a thorough review of the feedback from our Hiring Managers and Attendee resumes in order to appropriately identify the correct fit for each of KUBRA's available opportunities. We're glad that you were selected to meet with our team and thank you for your interest in a career with KUBRA. If you have any further feedback to help us improve on our processes, please feel free to contact us at feedback@kubra.com. Thank you! Matt - HR Generalist

      .NET Developer Interview

      24 Jun 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KUBRA in May 2022

      Interview

A recruiter reached out to me and said i am great for a .net role. 3 steps 1) talk with the recruiter about my experience and why i would want to switch companies. 2) hacker rank test/exam. You have ~120 minutes to complete 11 questions, 9 multiple choice (http security, iis lifecycle, css), 1 coding (any language you wish, i did it in c#) and 1 sql question. 3) Interview with 3 developers on the team. 2 of them had to hop off 15 minutes into the interview The behavior questions are talking about my experience, past projects I worked on, how do i handle stress do i do code review technical questions What is SSO, Do you have any experience using any third party payment systems (eg: paypal, stripe) What is an API and how can you authenticate that you connected to that api server. Why i turned the offer done? 1) From the beginning of the interview stage i requested that i would like it to be remote. They said they will have to check if its okay but it should be fine, worst case it would be once a month in the office, which is okay for me. After two weeks of interview and to chase them down on the status. They told me is hybrid and that i have to come into the office 2-3 times a week. Even when they told me its okay for once a month, last minute they told me I have to come into the office. 2) The salary was no where close to what i wanted and they told me they can meet my desired salary, Overall, there was no good communication from the HR team. From the beginning and throughout the 3 interview phases, I had my request of remote and desired salary. After completing all 3 stages of the interview, passing the reference and background checks. They gave me an offer where i had to come into the office and a much lower salary.

      20 Jul 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KUBRA in May 2020

      Interview

Internal recruiter reached out on a hiring platform and arranged for a screening call. Thereafter, arranged a coding test over HackerRank. Having passed this assessment, had an hour long technical/behavioural interview - most questions were technical and involved being shown pasted snippets in a google doc. Quite awkward. Final interview with senior leaders. Feedback was prompt, but having shared my salary expectations at the outset, I was pretty shocked when I was offered a figure well below than the minimum I had communicated. I declined, but the recruiter indicated that another role was available which would be more in line with my expectations, so I agreed to continue interviewing. After completing the process, a month passed without feedback despite being told it would come within a week. No problem; along with a number of cultural red flags from the interview process, I feel I dodged a bullet.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      - Easy C#/SQL questions of the HackerRank variety - .NET trivia - walkthrough of a previous project
