Interviewed with manager and some staff nurses, asked the typical interview questions. They'll ask about your flexibility in regards to training to different units or scheduling. Staff nurses there will engage as well to see if you are a good fit for their unit. It's a good thing to ask to shadow a day on the unit to see the culture of the unit and their resources.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you experienced a breakdown in communication and how it was resolved.
Very straight forward. Wanting to know how you deal with difficult personalities and patients. Usually if you get to the interview stage you already have the job they just want to make sure you will speak to patient safety, evidence based practice and excellent quality of car.

Question 1
Name a time you had a difficult patient and how did you deal with it?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in Aug 2023
Interview
Very different from other new grad residency interviews I've done. They had candidates present a 10-min PowerPoint presentation about their unique nursing journey and asked questions specifically about what you presented, so it was more personal than others.
