I applied online. I interviewed at Kensa Heat Pumps (Truro, England) in May 2024
Interview
So the interview itself started quite friendly, but seemed to be driven by an agenda of going through the motions. Nothing was asked about Transformation itself or change planning.
What was most shocking was that following this interview, I simply got Radio Silence and never heard a word back from them.
Heat pumps? More like hot air. They simply refused to even do a 'Thanjs, but no thanks'.
I think I was making up the numbers because I declared a disability, but then they could not be bothered.
For a company funded by Legal and General, you really do wonder.
Do I want an apology? No. They don't have any respect for anyone.

Interview
I applied through an agency for the role. The person from the agency was very nice and kept me informed/checking in regularly. The two people who interviewed me were also really nice and engaging. They asked the usual expected questions etc. They were speaking as if I had already got the job, e.g. I was going away over the weekend and they were ‘Looking forward to hearing about it when I’m back’. I got my hopes up but I didn’t hear anything back until I chased the agency (as they said they would contact me early next week but by the end of the week, I hadn’t heard anything).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you approach a situation where someone asks you a question on the phone and you didn’t know the answer?

Interview
Email tentative CVs to their HR team, they review it. Then might ask for a cover letter. Send them both. Then they will respond pretty quickly with an interview. No guarantee of job.
