Mixed interview process that ultimately felt disorganized and confusing.
Initial conversation with the hiring manager was positive and well-run. next steps were clearly outlined, which included speaking with their leadership. Based on that discussion, it felt like the process was moving forward in a structured way.
However, the process quickly became unclear. Instead of the next steps that were communicated, I was directed to interview with someone who would have been a peer in the same department. While the conversation itself was fine, there were scheduling issues and follow-up confusion. A few days later, I was contacted again by the same individual to schedule an interview that had already taken place. When I politely replied to clarify that we had already spoken, I did not receive a response.
Shortly after, I received a generic HR rejection email with no context, which was surprising given the prior conversations and feedback. Overall, the experience felt uncoordinated, with inconsistent communication between stakeholders.
Kestra appears to have an interesting product and mission, but candidates should be prepared for a hiring process that lacks clear alignment and follow through.
