I applied online. I interviewed at Key Search (Berlin)
Interview
I received a message from the company, the first interview was great and extremely professional, however the second interview was extremely unprofessional and biased since the first question, I was really surprised with the attitude during the interview. First question was where am i from? this question is considered in appropriate and potentially discriminatory, especially that there is no even explaining what is the relation between this question and the hiring process unless this will influence hiring decision. i felt during the interview that the focus was not on qualifications, skills or experiences rather than where am i from. I was really surprised from an experienced interviewer to behave like this. My second concern the same interviewer asked a question about a specific requirement from the employer and i answered it like i did in the first interview, as i know it is one of the main requirements of the position and one of the main reasons for them reaching out to me, but it seems that my answer was not satisfying to the interviewer, i asked for more clarifications, the answer was they can not clarify this as the question is well explained! it was not a surprise that after the interview by couple of days that i received a rejection phone call from the interviewer and the main reason was the answer of this question that the interviewer refused to clarify and explain, what the interviewer is searching for or what the interviewer wants to know exactly. After the interview i made a research to see if this question should have been answered differently but it was not, this was not a surprise, as the rejection was not based on the qualifications. sorry to say this. It was unpleasant experience for myself.

Question 1
Can you introduce yourself followed by where are you originally from?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Key Search (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Apr 2022
Interview
Good selection process. Interviews that were very straightforward and organized. I faced very
kind people that explained me the whole selection process. A case study was followed afterwards and even if I wasn’t selected I felt like it was a positive experience overall.
