Interviews here were a flexible schedule of 5 interviews: an hour introduction chat with an engineering lead, 3 1-hour evaluation interviews, and a final conversation with an executive. There was also a "take home" architectural design question, with the deliverable being a technical design document.

The evaluation interviews were, in general, of the "let's play around together with an idea" variety. Parsing example log files with scratch-pad Python was one, and a "how would you handle this service outage scenario" conversation was another.
