I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lexia UK
Interview
Phone call, written assessment followed by an interview with the CEO.
Never bothered to let me know the outcome of my interviews despite saying I’d know by the following week. The recruitment agent who set me up with the opportunity never responded either. Felt like a total waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lexia UK (Gateshead, England) in May 2017
Interview
30 long telephone call then 1 hour and 30 m face to face interview with one of the managers in their facilities in Gateshead.
The interviewer - who wasn't even the hiring manager which was quite odd - didn't ask general competency questions or had any interest in my experience. He didn't have any educational technology experience.
The final round was a 10 minutes presentation about the product and the company and 1 hour 45 minutes of Q & A with 2 people (one of them was the owner of the company) Very poor interview techniques and in certain moments some lack of professionalism .
They told me that they will take a decision in one week time, despite of this, only a few hours later I received an email from the business operations officer (a lovely lady) informed me that I had been unsuccessfull for the position. When I asked for an honest and constructive feedback about my , they refused to provide me any feedback.
Overall I am disappointed with the experience at Lexia UK and I consider it a waste of time.
Because of this, I would not recommend Lexia UK to anyone with experience in sales, education and technology.
