Submitted CV online. Telephone interview which was very simple and short. Then an assessment centre with around 30 people. They were running two of these per day and having around 4 separate days. Explained why the quality of the other candidates at the assessment centre was
poor. Assessment centre consisted of maths test, group assessment and the. 1 on 1 interview. Then invited to second assessment day. At this one there were around 15 people. Much higher quality of candidate. A test on accuracy, pretty simple spelling questions and series etc, but I wouldn't worry. Then a swot analysis presentation on local store and finally an interview with a senior manager and director. The interview was tough, tricky questions and a lot pressure put on one.
Only gripe is that there needed to be two assessment centres. They should have narrowed down the field ALOT more in the initial stage, by using online tests etc...
