I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Local Line (Kitchener, ON) in Sept 2020
Interview
I reached out through email to apply for a design job at Local Line. They set up a time for a phone screening a week later, and reached out to me on time with no issues. The interview went well and contained basic design screening questions regarding software, experience and goals. At the end of the interview they expressed interest in moving forward and said they would schedule a meeting with me and the CEO as a next step.
4 weeks passed with no attempt to schedule the call or review my portfolio until I got a rejection email.

Question 1
"Can you code?" was one of the more prominent questions which tells me they are running short on talent and money. Typically product designers are not required to do both their job and that of a developer.
I applied through university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Local Line (Kitchener, ON) in Jun 2019
Interview
Got called for a 5 min interview which seemed pointless given that they didnt even ask me anything proper. Just a casual conversation over the phone with a non-tech person that didnt even understand half the stuff I said
