I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in Mar 2011
Interview
All applicants are assessed by an HR person for meeting minimum requirements. A reduced number of applicants are evaluated by the hiring manager. The most promising applicants, usually 1 to 5, may get a phone interview. One or more of those may be selected for a face-to-face interview.
On-campus college recruiters interview the most promising candidates and rate them. This interview provides a great advantage for starting positions.
