I went through 11 rounds of toxic interviews (I'm being literal here not facetious - literally 11 separate interviews) over the course of months only to be rejected with no communication from the company (I found out I was not selected when they posted the celebratory announcement of their new Managing Director, who I believe lasted less than a year). The final round of interviews was done on Zoom during someone's house party and was super intimidating, involving senior staff and many board members (some of whom had been actively hostile to me in the past) firing inappropriate and unprofessional questions at me, frequently interrupting me and not giving me the time to finish my thoughts. During several of the earlier rounds of interviews, the staff and board members I spoke with one-on-one took my interview time to vent to me about their frustrations about working there or their personal issues with companies I had worked with in the past. I dodged a bullet and am forever grateful that I did not end up working at this company.
