First Round: Resume Shortlisting In the initial phase of the interview process, my focus was on presenting a strong development-oriented resume. I made sure to highlight my coding skills, relevant experience, and projects. An active GitHub profile played a crucial role in showcasing my coding prowess and contributions to various projects. Additionally, my engagement with open-source contributions demonstrated my collaboration skills and commitment to the developer community. Second Round: Cultural and Technical Interview I had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful cultural exchange discussion during the second round with my interviewer, who was from my hometown of Hyderabad. We talked about the fascinating exchange of cultures between South and North India. This not only created a positive atmosphere but also helped establish a connection beyond the technical aspects of the interview. Interestingly, I was given the choice to start with either a development or a Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) round. I opted for the development round, confident in my coding abilities. During this phase, I had the chance to showcase my practical coding skills, discuss projects I had worked on, delve into code architecture, and share insights into my debugging strategies and coding style. Subsequently, we moved on to the DSA round, which assessed my problem-solving capabilities and understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms. I walked through my approach to solving coding challenges, providing insights into my thought process and problem-solving techniques. Interview Outcome Despite my efforts and a positive interview experience, I wasn't selected to proceed to the HR round. While this was disappointing, I understand that interview outcomes can be influenced by various factors. Each interview experience is an opportunity for growth, and I plan to reflect on the questions asked and my responses to further refine my skills.
