I applied online. I interviewed at MTM Technologies (Lake Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
During the interview process you are required to take a test that's about an hour long. Now I'm far from a genius, but I'm still educated. The majority of the questions were fairly easy. Some questions were more difficult but still, I felt I answered all of them with a correct answer. I felt extremely CONFIDENT after completing the test,
thinking I'd be granted a position. I received a call a few days later saying I failed the test! I asked why & what questions did I fail to answer with the appropriate answer. I was told they couldn't discuss my results of my test any further. That I failed, wouldn't be given another chance, & thanks for applying. It was a great disappointment. But I figured they did me a favor & I wouldn't want to work for a company with such lack of empathy or reasoning anyhow.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MTM Technologies (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2012
Interview
a short phone interview. Followed up with an manager asking me a few questions and that was it. I then had a engineer ask me a couple simple questions and moved on to the next person. then a manager asked if I didn't mind travel or support desk and that was it.

Question 1
was told MTM is a great place to be from. And I should take it and move on within 2 years tops. I thought he was kidding but it was true
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MTM Technologies
Interview
Initial communications were from an external recruiter who runs his own company but is "an mtm employee".... the interview was rushed and rammed through out of desperation it seemed. it took 3 interviews before an offer letter was extended. Was not able to gauge corporate culture as system engineers were not welcomed into the office except during required annual meetings.

Question 1
none, as they seemed quite happy to have hired someone qualified for the position.
