Interview with HR, then interviews with business team, then psychometric testing (verbal + quantitative + abstract thinking, the former two sections similar to the SAT/GMAT). Then verbal offer followed by written offer.

As interviewee, I was asked about work experience, deal experience and reasons why I wanted to work at Macquarie.

Interview
The Macquarie process was like any other investment bank - applications, first round HR interview, psychometric testing then interview with director. First interview was fairly behavioural based, questions about "cultural fit" and "teamwork". Asked about my extra curriculas and my language skills. Second interview was more technical and asked about how I would value particular assets. Emphasis would more on thought processes rather than displaying understanding of DCF and other finance concepts.
