I heard that Macy's was hiring from snagajob.com and applied online. I got an email the next day telling me that I was invited for an interview and asked me to schedule an appointment. I scheduled an appointment at 10:00 AM and wished I didn't because they open at 10:00 AM and even at 10:00 AM they are still not opened, they opened at like 10:10 AM, and it was my first interview ever and I was also nervous and wasn't even sure where the Human Resources office was and had to ask one of the employees. When I walked into the office I noticed a lady sitting at a desk(I think she was like the secretary or something) and I told her what I was here for and she told me that the only position available was something like stock associate position and that they are paying only $7.25/hr for that position. I said I would be fine with it and she asked me to sit and wait while she calls a manager to come in and interview me. So as you can see, the person doing the interview wasn't even there. So I sat there waiting, I waited for about a minute or two before the manage came in and she seemed polite and introduced herself to me by her name and shook my hand. Then she took me into this room, the room was ugly and did not look like an office at all. I don't think it was even an office. The table that I sat at was ugly and old, and the room had a lot of computer screens or something. The first question that she asked me was, "Why do you want to work at Macy's?" I told her that I liked the store and that I shopped there often. She also asked me what position I wanted and if I wanted part-time or full-time position. I thought that they should have already known this since I did apply for a certain position online before coming in. She also asked me if I like working with people and if I am comfortable greeting every customer that I bump into. I said that I was okay with it which I wished that I should have said I love it or I'm good at that. The question that I disliked the most was, "Tell me about a time when you saw someone do something unethical and what was your action?"

I did a walk-in job interview during the hiring job fair. I applied for the job on their computer kiosk. Then they put me in for an interview on the same day.
