I did a walk-in job interview during the hiring job fair. I applied for the job on their computer kiosk. Then they put me in for an interview on the same day.
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Greenwood, IN) in Oct 2011
Interview
Very simple process. Applied online. Scheduled online. However, the first interview I waited 20 minutes after my interview time but met with a great gal named Renae. We got along great, and she made me feel very comfortable. I was afraid that it being Macy's that I would be grilled or really heavily questioned, but I wasn't. I had a bit of trouble finding the HR offices because they were tucked back behind the lingerie section. I brought with me to my first interview my resumé but she already had it; so, there was no need to bring it to my second one. The second interview was literally five minutes with the Cosmetics Sales Manager, Kelly. She was just on time and super nice. She asked me one question about where I work now, but it seemed only out of formality that she did. All-in-all, my advice would just be to smile and be confident about yourself! :)

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you saw someone do something wrong and what did you do?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Houston, TX) in Dec 2025
Interview
Answer first question starting with One recorded video and then followed up with multiple recorded responses to additional questions. Pretty simple and straightforward. Dress up on the top and wear whatever on the bottom.
Was an easy phone interview that only took a couple of minutes. I was only asked maybe 3 questions at most. Questions were sales experience, job history, and what I can work
